Salt Lake City Paint Pros is a locally owned painting company serving Salt Lake City, UT, and the greater Salt Lake Valley. Our services include professional work such as:
- Interior painting
- Exterior painting
- Residential painting
- Commercial painting
- Cabinet painting and refinishing
- Deck and fence staining
- Drywall repair and preparation
- Color consultation
- Wallpaper removal
All work is completed by trained professionals employed or contracted by Salt Lake City Paint Pros. We are fully licensed and insured in the State of Utah.
2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates from Salt Lake City Paint Pros are free and remain non-binding until both parties sign a written service agreement. Unless stated otherwise, estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Final pricing may change because of:
- Changes in project scope
- Unexpected surface conditions found during prep work
- Material price changes
- Extra services requested by the client
Any revision to the original estimate will be shared and approved in writing before additional work starts.
3. Form Submission and Contact Consent
When you submit a form on our Website or reach out by phone, you consent to our use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. You also give us permission to contact you through:
- Phone (including autodialed or prerecorded calls)
- Text message (SMS)
- Postal mail

When you hire Salt Lake City Paint Pros for painting services, we will provide a separate written service agreement or contract. That agreement will cover:

- Project timeline and schedule
- Payment terms and schedule
- Warranty information
- Cancellation and refund policies
If a service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service agreement controls for the services it addresses.
10. Payment Terms
Payment terms for services will be listed in your individual service agreement. General payment policies include:
- A deposit may be required before work begins.
- Progress payments may be required for larger projects.
- Final payment is due when the work is completed unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods include check, credit card, and electronic transfer.
- A 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% annual) may be applied to overdue balances.
- Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
11. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Client Cancellation:
- You may cancel services without penalty by giving written notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the total project cost.
- Deposits for custom-ordered materials are non-refundable.
Rescheduling:
- We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests. Rescheduling depends on crew and material availability.
Company Cancellation:
- We may cancel or delay services because of weather, material shortages, crew availability, or other events outside our control. When that happens, we will work with you to set a new date as soon as possible.
12. Warranty
Salt Lake City Paint Pros provides a limited workmanship warranty on all completed painting projects. Warranty terms include:
- Interior painting: 2-year warranty on workmanship.
- Exterior painting: 2-year warranty on workmanship.
- Cabinet refinishing: 1-year warranty on workmanship.
Warranty coverage includes:
- Peeling, blistering, or flaking caused by improper application.
- Visible brush marks, roller marks, or uneven coverage.
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by the client, pets, or third parties.
- Damage from moisture intrusion, structural movement, or settling.
- Fading or discoloration due to UV exposure.
- Surfaces not prepared or painted by Salt Lake City Paint Pros.
- Defects in materials or products supplied by the client.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing during the warranty period. We will review the reported issue and, at our discretion, repair or repaint the affected area.
13. Disclaimers
THE WEBSITE AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH IT ARE OFFERED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALT LAKE CITY PAINT PROS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF INFORMATION

14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

Agreement to Arbitrate: You and Salt Lake City Paint Pros agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, or our services shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
- The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator.
- Claims valued at $10,000 or less may be resolved through documents-only arbitration (without an in-person hearing).
- The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver: YOU AND SALT LAKE CITY PAINT PROS AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Small Claims Exception: Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
21. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
22. Force Majeure
Salt Lake City Paint Pros shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of God
- Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Government actions or regulations
- Labor disputes or strikes
- Supply chain disruptions or material shortages
- Power failures or utility outages
23. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Website at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. After termination, all provisions of these Terms that should survive by their nature shall remain in effect, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
25. Waiver
If Salt Lake City Paint Pros does not enforce a right or provision in these Terms, that does not mean we waive it. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the Company.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and any applicable service agreement, form the complete agreement between you and Salt Lake City Paint Pros concerning the Website and our services and replace all prior or contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or statements, whether written or oral.
27. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. Salt Lake City Paint Pros may assign these Terms without restriction.
28. No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not give any rights to any person or entity other than you and Salt Lake City Paint Pros. No third party has any rights under these Terms.
